In March, we acquired our first breeding stallion, Pyro Prince VLA (Pyro Thyme SA x Le Fire Princess (a Le Fire daughter)).

This beautiful yearling colt was purchased from Valentine Arabians located in Fort Collins, Colorado. “Prince” was a perfect fit in our program of producing beautiful halter quality performance horses. We are very excited to have Prince in the barn and look forward to seeing him in the halter ring in 2008.

In the month of April we had 4 foals born on the farm, two fillies and two colts. All of the foals are beautiful, halter quality, athletic and we are excited to offer some of these foals for sale – unfortunately we can’t keep them all!

In May, we purchased two mares from Conway Arabians. Gold Hill Arabians is adding two more broodmares to the farm in the hopes of breeding quality English horses. We were lucky to add two mares with superb breeding to our farm, Proberry Bey (Afire Bey V x Classically Yours (a Pro-Fire daughter)) and DA Tri TheStars (Triften+ x Snowshill Arista). These two mares are extremely athletic and very pretty and we are looking forward to breeding them in the years to come.

Proberry Bey is in foal to My Generation for a 2008 foal.

On July 31st our third child and only daughter Jillian Lee was born. Her two big brothers are thrilled and I am looking forward to having a reason to buy pink and purple! Jillian is a happy baby and is so fun to have around.

In October, Gold Hill Arabians had their first US National Top Ten halter horse. Aladamreekhe GHA was TT in the AOTH Mares division. We are so proud of this filly and her owner, Ronene Anderson. In case you are interested, we currently have on the farm two full siblings to this filly for sale, Montego Bey GHA and Panama GHA.

Also, Pyro Thyme SA, the sire of our new stud colt was National Champion in the Senior Stallions Class. This was great news for our new stallion and our breeding program. Pyro Thyme SA is a beautiful stallion with 8 crosses to the immortal *Bask. Our colt’s halter future looks just a promising and his bloodlines are just as powerful with 9 crosses to *Bask.

Overall it has been a wonderful year. We look forward to 2008 and our new foal crop.

Happy New Year!
